General Music Chat

Hey Folks, I've been looking for a keyboard player for some time now and have gotten like zero response. We are an all original sort of country rock/classic rock/semi-acoustic band. Ideally I need a female keyboard with vocals who can back up my female lead singer but if there's a guy out there that can do some high vocals that could work too. We rehearse in Springfield, NJ one night a week. We are not a working band yet but plan on booking some venues to preview our work this fall. Our lead singer and lead guitar player have recorded in Nashville and have solid contacts. Over 21 years old is our only request. Other than that age is not an issue. You won't attract any good keyboardist until you're actually working and making decent money. Even then, you will be up against many other bands who want the same person. I wouldn't be too picky either; if they're relatively talented and reasonably young grab him or her.

Jimmy's right, take any keyboardist that is willing to work with you..or none at all.
