I heard about this yesterday and didn't look into it, got up this morning and saw fog everywhere and not enough dew to account for a fog...so I went out and took some pictures. Nothing transferred to the computer yet though.

So I just looked it up, it seems a huge dust cloud form a wind storm in the Sahara Desert has crossed the Atlantic and is creating hazy skies from Florida to Texas. Everyone I've talked to yesterday and today has been sneezing like crazy, my sinuses are going bonkers...

Might have some decent pictures later, not sure what I got yet.

Billy, this stuff has made my sinus's act up all week. There has been a haze all over Houston and Galveston ALL WEEK! even my dogs are sneezing like crazy. There has been a high pressure system sitting in the middle of Texas. It is suppose to move out of the area and allow for deep tropical moisture to move ashore and clear all this Saharan dust to move out for the weekend!

I know I've been waiting for this damn dry spell to move on for 3 weeks. I have to water my garden every day, the Tabasco peppers are the only thing left though. Ants are coming inside looking for water, and now this dust is driving everyone's sinuses crazy..I Knew you had to be catching it, that thing has been hanging over Houston for days. It just got here yesterday.

If any of you are subject to hay fever or asthma, and anywhere along the gulf coast, try to stay inside until this dust cloud clears out, or wear a medical mask...I'm not even allergic to poison ivy and this is driving my sinuses nutzoid...

Well that sucks. We have a nice breath of fresh Canadian air, temps right around 80, without a cloud in the sky. Perfect weather for our gig tonight!

A little place called the Dawghouse, we're doing 4 sets. Looks like we have a good crowd coming. We're just a bunch of Dawgs!
