I think he's funny, actually I found reference to him being a comic in the past somewhere. What he's saying is the total truth. Don't take the business seriously it will kill you. Serious about what you do is different, but forget the business, there is no such thing. It's fractured and manipulated just like it ever was.
One thing of note. He read a letter. People think emails thrown around, and online presence is the whole ball, it isn't. A GOOD letter with GOOD content, sent by regular mail with a sample always did me more good than a 4000 email shot.
Besides..... you gotta walk the fat off and not use the car so much with a stamped letter. Paper isn't dead yet.
