saw the auction bill last week, and noticed the Cropper name, briefly though"I wonder if this is Steve's relative?) .. well, I completely forgot about the name of the personal property's owner of today's auction until I was browsing some magazines and books at the event, and noticed Steve Cropper in an article in one of the mags, and it hit me that oh yes, now I remember the Cropper name on the auction bill, and one of my auction friends, (after I pointed out the Steve Cropper article,) Truman the Mennonite, said Bobby had mentioned before I got there today, it was Steve Cropper's father named Hollis Cropper who's stuff was going on the block.. I asked Truman, do you think Steve is attending? well, we found Hollis sitting on the front porch of his home, w/ immediate family surrounding him, and I asked him if Steve would be there since I would like a Steve Cropper autograph as much as anybody, sadly Hollis (in his 90's) said Steve is overseas on tour and won't be there, but I got to talk for a few minutes with Hollis, and it was neat conversing with him..

I was too bashful to ask Hollis for Steve's mailing address, I want to mail this clipping to him, it's prolly the right thing to do, got may other Cropper relics/heirlooms that should be returned I think?

Father's Day was 2 months ago, and you're just telling us NOW?
