Press and a Little Publicity

Even though I got a great review from the guitarist of one of my faves, I wanted to start building on the press items on RN. Any dedicated musician is a Grade A musician. So if you want, it would be greatly appreciated if some of you listened to, and reviewed my band's songs. Can be brief, don't have to be long. Of course you know one thing, I can't post the negative reviews on RN :P trying to get the name out there more.

Anyways, if you do, remember to post your link and what name you want to go under.

I would be more than thankful! Sure I would learn a buttload overall. I learn a lot from you guys all the time.

No, give it straight. There's so much I'm embarrassed of and wish I could have taken out before the guy recording it started trying to change the riffs to the songs.

Whatever. As long as the three of us like it, then that's really all that matters. I never was popular in life to begin with. ...and that's not me being negative, just honest.

Admirable goal, but .... it's reverbnation ... Does anyone really read the 'press release' sections of others' profiles?
I guess if you are using reverbnation as you official webpage and pointing prospective booking agents/club owners to it, then having some real PR might be good, but probably not reviews from other musicians.
Lacking anything else, I used excerpts of amazon reviews of my first CD.

The goal is to get people interested for live shows. Seems like these locals are introverts cause some said they were down but weren't. Not a fan of FB, and RN is cool, but far from accurate.

I hear ya loud and clear, Mike. Cause the review we got and the band it comes from is no joke. They've been a cult icon and innovative band for 30 years.

Time to just play out and beat up everyone's ears...

Krul, I did what you asked, but part of it is getting back to people who do take the time to say something. It's part of that invaluable goldmine called PR and networking. Best regards - Chippy
