Thirty years ago today Big Country released "The Crossing", one of the best debuts of all time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MT8TBPt_XQ

I once listened to In a Big Country, on loop, for two hours while driving to Colorado once - and it didn't get old. Just had to give my ears a break for awhile after that long.

That's pretty cool Zip. I was in the hospital for a week once with a tape player and one tape: U2's "Boy". I must have listened to that tape 50 times.

I had a mix of songs and I wasn't really feeling the others.
I'd ran into some bad weather and dicey roads - initially I was manually restarting the song, but at a certain point I thought, "sh*t, I need to really focus", so I put it on repeat.
May not have been exactly two hours, but it was well past an hours worth.
It never got to the point of driving me nuts, and I still enjoy it today.
