Electric Face

So there seems to be some possible bad wiring going on where we practice. And the war is between my guitar amp and face. All equipment is in great shape. So I'm thinking:
1. Plug in an extension and use a different outlet altogether.
2. Get a device to stop the current flow
3. Deal with the headache(last resort, if at all)
Not sure what else I can do. Either one is fine until both are in use then all electricity seems to re-route to my face...and occasional front tooth. Not a good feeling...
Anyone?

Why Kruliosis - I've always considered you a well grounded fellow!
Seriously - better deal with that or you'll touch a mic and it will be adios muchachos.

Is your amp properly grounded (three-prong plugged into a proper outlet)? If so there is a grounding issue with your space. Do not use it. Keith Relfs was electrocuted in a rehearsal accident.

Is the PA and your amp plugged into the same circuit (same circuit breaker)? If so, then you've got a grounding issue, get it solved! IF you're plugged into different circuits, then there could be a grounding issue in the room's circuits, or in one of the amps. If you're the only one getting shocked and everyone is plugged into the same circuit, then it could be your amp.

I run everything, lights, fog, fans, amps, everything, through a set of power conditioners.
I highly recommend it.
Not only do you get a clean constant power flow, you get a little peace of mind so you can focus on the task at hand.

This will tel you pretty quick if the wall socket is mis-wired or has a ground fault. A necessary piece of kit when you play dumps and dives.

Everything we use are plugged into different sockets. There are some creepy noises when all is on, but when mine turns on I get a moustache fry. Out of the four plugs near me, only one outlet isn't sunk in and crooked. I've propped up the mic on a bucket...etc...no dice. This has become very Charlie-Brown-like as of lately.
Thanks guys! I now know its me and need to get out...but I'm iffy on messing with any plugs, even though I'm sure I will.
