I spent the evening yesterday with Yod and Songwriter/Producer Wendy Waldman:

They were very focused and pretty far along in a song for his next album. I was a fly on the wall with nothing really to contribute but enjoyed observing the process and listening to the stories about the rise and fall of people at the heart of the Nashville music scene.
I suspect Yod's next release will be powerful.

Impressive Bio. I recognized the name (probably from her early work with Linda Ronstadt), but don't recognize any of the impressively-long songs by name.

She definitely knows how to make hits with some #1 on the charts along the way. She has songwriting/producing credits with Maria Muldaur, Garth Brooks, NG Dirt Band, Vanessa Williams, Crystal Gayle and Linda Ronstadt among many others.

That's so cool Johnny.I bet the stories were great let alone the process of recording/writing even if you were a fy on the wall. It's something you'll always remember and be able to talk about.

Yo Dave!
Thank you for such kindness. The first thing she said when I got here today was about how much she liked hanging with you last night. She doesn't open up to many people like she did to you last night.
Want to be a fly on the couch during the session on Friday? Unfortunately it will be a day session but we're starting kind of late so you could come from work and catch about the last half of it, I think?

Sure thing Ted, I always enjoy hanging out with talent. My AM is pretty busy tomorrow but I start early and should be able to wrap my day by noon or 1pm. What time are you getting started?

I can probably make that unless something blows up at work that I don't expect. See ya then.
