All part and parcel to the whole genie gig man.
I / we successfully utilized the Banmix search function to fill out our roster.
Took the better part of six months to do it. Searching every other day, sending messages with a return ratio of about 20:1, then auditions ETC.
But the core of our band has been together for over seven years now, so in comparison it was as they say, spit in the ocean.

Yes It can be a huge pain in the ass. People not calling back, not showing up, showing up unprepared. Its all part of the process. What is worse that scanning the ads here most say how good they are(guitar, vocals, etc) but dont post any audio or video. My advice, if they dont have anything to send you, then dont bother with them. Just keep playing, sometimes it works out, other times not so much. Just keep your feelers out there.
