There is a certain bogosity level in this. Turns out the lady is professional cello player. Everybody plays to win I guess - in this sort of thing, I imagine 'cheating' is fair!

Disclaimer: I confess I've never seen any of these idol shows but folks talk. I can't handle the drama.

Idol shows=glorified karaoke. Calling an Idol contestant an "artist" is like calling a mynah bird an "artist." I still, to this day, don't get any of the hoopla over these stupid shows. The egg-throwing was most definitely staged. Just like when what's her name Jackson showed a tit at the halftime of a Superbowl. Staged B.S. Pure and simple.

I watched one of the "Idol" shows once, got disgusted and turned it off halfway through. Cowell is a twit, the whole thing is stupid, yeah now and then one of the kids might actually be talented, but I can't stomach the stupidity long enough to watch it and find out. I see no reason to sit there and watch them insult my intelligence.

I perform with a guy (Lowell Premer) who's got incredible musical ability, both musically and lyrically, but he doesn't have the "flash" of an Idol "artist." The American appetite for glorified karaoke singers IS an insult to intelligence and a travesty for somebody like Lowell who's more popular in Kazakstan, literally, than right here in Kansas City. But that's the state of music here in the U.S.A., a massive lack of intelligence and catering to superficiality and wool jobs, people pulling the wool over the eyes and ears of Americans. It's funny that the egg throwing was staged, but probably many intelligent music lovers thought it was an appropriate action based on the B.S. the Idol mentality represents.
