every time I go to wallyworld to pick up a box of .22LR ammo they are out of stock..this is utter bullcrap, since back in the day you could always get a box of .22 ammo.. I believe the government is artificially making this "shortage" .. it is a way the gubbamint is going to control guns by making ammo manufacturers stop production.. I am so pizzed off my blood is boiling..

Yes it is just another violation of the bill of rights and the constitution by lawless employees of the people of this United States.

It has nothing to do with paranoia. "They" are planning on disarming the American public.
All the legislators, all the legislation, even the UN freely admit it.

There was a good bit of .22 at a recent gun show here in GA, but it has been very rare. I picked up 300 rounds for a pal but it cost him 64.00 bucks which is about three times last year's cost. (which is why I put off buying a .22 I wanted)

It's the most versatile all around cartridge and while .223 and 76.62 /39 are available again in decent amounts the venerable old .22 is last to the gate.

There have been many unverified but I think creditable rumors of folks making deals with the guys who unload the trucks at WalMart and notifying their buddies when ammo comes in.

Plus we have to add the fact that in 4 years 70 million firearms have been purchased and a significant portion of them will have been .22 and those folks will want to shoot their guns too.

Thankfully, congress has vetoed those freaks at DHS from buying the 1-2 billion rounds of military ammo they perceive they need to protect us from the imaginary terrorists that seem to abound.

A positive side effect is that there are numerous new munitions manufactures coming on line to help meet the need.

I recently obtained the required dies ETC to reload for 8mm Mauser.
Fortunately I have a goodly supply of primers and powder which are also in short supply due to increased demand.

I have been working in my shop to have an area to set up my reloading press and other various equipment.

It's been a few years since I had a dedicated place to roll my own.
Looking forward to it as I have collected a lot of brass.

Our government has been stock piling more ammo and new fully automatic weapons than any civilian citizen. THEY GOT LAWS AGAINST THAT.

HMMM... Government agencies are requesting more weapons and ammo than the army, marines, and navy... HMMM...

Glen, it occurs to me...why aren't you up in DC bringing this very important fact about the ammo, directly to congress? Answer: Becuse stockpiling ammo isn't nearly as detrimental to us as the quelling of our ability to communicate openly with our govt. That is to say, if yo did manage to get an audience in Congress, they would suppress...nay..gag order your information right out of the building.

If you want Change, Glen, you have to kill everything that resides on Govt property in DC...Sorry it is the only remaining option before a complete marhall law is laid down on Americans. Now here's the rub. Our Govt already knows this...and that is why they are absconding with our ammo.
The ammo isnt the probem Glen...Its the suppression of our speech. That's 'everything'.

You are correct in that this is not about ammo... I think think that the amount of private ammo in civilian hands blows away what our government has stockpiled.

The biggest mistake that all of government has forgotten is that WE the PEOPLE... OWN THE GOVERNMENT!

It is not the other way around.
People such as Jimmy, with all his education, miss this one simple point.
Our president, misses this simple point.

Why do we have government? To avoid anarchy and chaos.
However it America we will NOT TOLERATE TYRANNY. Government Must not be manipulated to allow tyranny.

People are asleep, people are stupid, people are lazy, people are compromising their freedoms because they have been educated in VALUES that lead to surrender of individual thought.

Devaluation of the US dollar is of greater concern. Already this has caused huge spikes in energy costs, food prices, and just about every thing you can think of. We are on the verge of collapse because our money is worthless...

We murder the child that God is forming in the womb for convenience even though the child has done nothing. Then we justify our actions through excuses. Our politicians are liars, our media false prophets. Adultery is common, while marriage is scarce. We deny His sovereignty, we hate His instruction, and we curse in the name of His salvation. Our drugs deny the healing ministry of His Christ, and we deny Gods existence in our institutions of "higher learning". We have not taught our children in the way to go. His statutes have been prevented, and His laws scoffed at. We claim God does not exist until someone dies, then we all say that the deceased is at peace in heaven. Yet when we find ourselves in dire straights, we call on this non existent god to save us. We deny wisdom for foolishness and we despise His ways. Then we ask Him to bless America and protect our freedom from evil men that He has appointed to destroy it. Who could not go on endlessly about the ungodliness in America and this world system?

But then if God is a myth, then none of the above truly matters.
