Let's say my toilet is broken. I call a plumber, and...

1. He works on the problem.

2. He says it's fixed.

3. I pay him.

4. I check the toilet and it still isn't working.

5. He refuses to give me my money back.

I can shoot him.

And this goes for anyone else in the service industry - pizza delivery, electricians, contractors...Today 11:25am

I wonder what that jury was thinking. As presented this looks pretty daggone bizarre.

Only cops get to shoot people for trivial reasons.

This can't be true, can it??

Don't blame the guy for trying this Hail Mary pass of a defense, but the Judge is an imbecile to allow it.

He has failed the competency test and needs to be shoved off immediately. I find it very interesting that his/her name wasn't given in this article.

I think more research into this article is warranted. I find it hard to believe myself.

Does anybody remember "The National Enquirer"?

The only thing missing in this publishment are the aliens that probed the guy before he shot the Escort.

Here's what probably really happened: (Purely SPeculation)

Man hires escort. Man is an asshole and treats the escort like sh*t. Escort sees opportunity to steal money from the man's wallet, and attempts to evade him. Man discovers robbery and shoots her cold blooded, to recover the money.
In court, they use the 'Nighttime theft" to justify his action. It has nothing at aall to do with being an escort. They were treating the case like a theft gone bad.

Now, this rag, takes the fact about 'escort' and weaves convoluted logic to get readers sensationalized over the idea that a hooker was murdered because she refused to have sex with the nice man... You see where this goes? They have a story that grips everyone's attention, by merely twisting the context and what little fact s they are reporting.

It appears the story is true. If you click on the embedded link in the first sentence it takes you to the actual story on mySA (San Antonio).

That being due to top security restrictions under the Roswell Act.
