Posted: Sun Jun 02, 2013 10:10 amAny name you come up with has most likely already been thought of or used. As long as it is not being used in your local area you should be good to use it. Our name Mission Imposter was not being used in any area we knew about. There is however another band using it now. They are not local and we are not out to "make it" on a national level. Having said that we have IMO made it on a local level. Our name recognition is growing and we just landed one of the biggest gigs in the area for July 4th playing "Rock The Dock" it is sponsored by local radio and they announce your name on these stations multiple times in the advertisements. We are regularly playing for $1000.00 a night now.
