RIP. I was a huge fan.
The only bass player (of Bowie's) that I liked better was Tony Visconti whose primary gig actually was producer but check him out of the Man Who Sold the World album.
They are going down too fast - I'm getting dizzy...

Saw TB with Bowie and the Spiders in 72. He must have been 21 then! We did Suffragette City and Hang On To Yourself in my high school band.

If you don't know Bowie's Ziggy Stardust & the Spiders from Mars album, or Uriah Heep, just go climb back under your rock!

I know the names only.
Born in 73.

That's a shame. Your parents probably conceived you listening to "Ziggy". My daughter was born in 1982 and it's one of her favorite albums. Of course, I understand this is your passive-aggressive way of getting revenge against the rest of the forum for not knowing who the metal dudes that passed away recently were. I get it.

You might want to listen to some music that was made before that year. Or not - your choice, your rock is waiting.

Yeah - I did Suffragette City with an outfit in FL. It certainly popped. Did Jean Genie as well but that didn't have Trevor as I recall.
Saw them in Philly when Bowie did the Aladdin Sane tour and he played a lot of this stuff.
To me Bowie and his posse suggested that I could do any damn thing I wanted. I loved them for that.

Here is a clip of Trevor and the gang:

I assume that is an EBO bass. Trevor and several others did well with those but in my experience they put out a wall of mud.

Pretty close, Jimmy.
Sub out "rest of the forum" with "jimmy danger", and you got it.
It was probably CCR that I was conceived to.
