A friend of mine has a project she does called "The Filaments Project". Basically she makes jewelry out of used strings and sells them. Apparently, she just finished some stuff made with strings from The Rolling Stones.

The are available on e-bay.
Ronnie Wood Acoustic Strings:http://tinyurl.com/bdzobrn
Mick Taylor Strings:http://tinyurl.com/baqmx7j
Daryl Jones Bass Strings:http://tinyurl.com/a9cyfc4

I thought some of you might like to know.

Oh, sorry. I forgot to mention that bit.

This stuff is part of https://www.sweetrelief.org/the-filaments-project/. All proceeds benefit the Sweet Relief musicians fund. From their website:

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, Healing Musicians in Need. We all have received so much out of music, it's time to give a little back!

The lady who produces this stuff is a dedicated music fan who does this because, well, she can. She has a number of other things she does for money, but this one is for Sweet Relief.
