sorry vinny, no universally tuned pedal steel gtr on either.

you'll have to settle for some vibes and some gtr. as i'm still trying to figure those out!

Well since I don't have a universally tuned pedal steel gtr either, I'll have to let you slide on that one

You do keep sounding even better and better on those vibes and guitar ... the trio altogether is sounding stronger too!

I also like that carpet on the wall next to you ... reminds me of my "office chair" except mine is on the floor.

thanks guys for checking them out and for the kind words.

vinny, if you you ever wanna buy a steel and trade it straight up for that blankey i'd be happy to oblige. i'll even throw in the walking stick it hangs from.

having an op to regularly play (and play out) has been most helpful in helping me get my $hit together on gtr and vibes. (bass will ALWAYS be my comfort zone) i still have a very, very long way to go and i'm my own harshest critic....but as they say, it's all about the journey and not the arrival....since as we know....we never really "arrive".

joe, "Birks Works" is an old tune from the great trumpeter and bebop pioneer John Birks Gillespie (aka Dizzy Gillespie). glad you dug it!

hmmm, now that i think about...the other tune "Little Sunflower" is ALSO from a great trumpet player.....Freddie Hubbard.

I'll look into that trade offer .. of course the steel would likewise be a 'wall hanger'

The videos here indicate that your journey is progressing pretty swiftly!
You look comfortable swinging at that Deagan Cadillac. :D

well, we're gonna have to come up with one secure and foolproof mounting system for one of those beasties.

well, as usual there is no right or wrong answers (and i ALWAYS grade on curve) but i had to relisten to both of those....not sure where you're hearing "R.O.T.S." but hey, at least you didn't hear "Close To You" by The Carpenters. 8)
