Knock 'em dead, Bob.

"contractually obligated to originals" means, of course, they have not paid their BMI/ASCAP licensing fees. No MP3s playing during breaks, no house juke box/radio.

Thanks for the replies. It's always a challenge performing with superior players like Lowell Premer-guitar and The Soaring Saxman, Dave Panico. Hopefully I'll be up for it. Rhearsals are a grind for originals, much tougher than covers, NO TEMPLATE. They won't know what'll hit them. Hard. And they'll be pleasantly surprised.

Hey best of luck Bob, have fun! Although I'm not sure I agree about original music being more work than covers. When the Farleys write and rehearse it's a blast and no work at all. When Dover Sole (the cover band) rehearses it's a lot of work. But we're turning down more work than we can accept, Dover Sole has gigs May 25 and 31, and The Farleys have a show June 7. In between we are recording three new originals. I'm getting worn out.
