I was just thinking the other day about these little things we used to do at our jam sessions and was wondering if anyone else does something similar...
we used to:

when anyone said the word 'general' the band would automatically break into the theme from the dukes of hazzard.
if anyone said country we'd break into garth brooks shamless (over accentuating the country voice).

we would do the stickman jam... someone would always start the stickman jam by playing some riff w/o bending any of your limbs. whatever riff you cam up with... everyone would have to play along with their arms and legs stiff. (I know I/we are/were weird)

Just some funny stuff we used to do when we had too much energy... anyone else have any weird traditions?

I don't know if it was a tradition, but....

When I was a kid, I started out in my mother's band.
We were famous for playing any, and I mean ANY song
that someone requested.

We had like 10 fake books to do this, and the piano player
was gifted, that, if people picked a song not known to
anyone but them, she would make them hum a few bars
and by ear, she could always get a decent version going.

Anyway, my mom didn't like the idea really of songs
talking about drugs, so if anyone requested Clapton's "Cocaine"
she would tell them that we would do it, but on the part where
everyone screams out "Cocaine" she said they would have
to scream out "Chocolate Cake" instead....

It's silly, but people actually had more fun screaming out
Chocolate Cake. They'd laugh their asses off.
