Jimmy I listened to this from your FB posting.
Like I said on there, this song really captures all of the elements of Hendrix's lead playing that I love, its funny cause there is a section in there were it sounds like hes totally out of key for a few bars, sounds like he just laid this solo down and went for it.
I dont listen to Hendrix much anymore, so this was a welcome song to listen too, thanks man!

Yes as I said it was on "War Heroes" originally, which also had "Bleeding Heart", "Highway Child" and "Stepping Stone". Even though these pieces weren't finished they give you a good idea where Jimi was going.
I like listening to Hendrix.I saw on doc. or tube posting when he came out to play in his early years and started by tuning,then speaking to the crowd in that mellow voice telling them we thought we'd jam for awhile and see what becomes of it.He starts playing and slowly weaves his music in to tunes you recognize,it was great.
