The first public appearance of Dover Soul at The All Around Bar is tonight. We're doing some Police, Cars, Deep Purple and more. Private birthday party show on May 11 and then first paying gig on May 25. Busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Where did the name come from.

There's a fb group called "That's a great name for a band". I posted it a while ago and the band adopted it. It reflects the fact that we do mostly English music (Dover is in England).

Jimmy actually musically Im preparing for next weekend, the last Aint Yo Mama gig, plus I have actually been redording some songs.

I completed one song last weekend, need to mix it, dont know if its up to snuff to put on here or not! LOL!

But I have another one that is a bunch of snippets Ive accumulated over the last year or so, I call it Storm Chaser, I really love to watch those shows where people chase storms, and last weekend Twister was on TV and I sat there and worked the parts of it out. Instrumental, just trying to capture the emotion of chasing a tornado, hopefully when I get it laid down it will show those emotions, but in music you just never know til you listen to the result. So although Ive been pretty quiet on here, I have been busy musically.

Storm Chaser, sounds intriguing, I want to hear it. Enjoy your last show next week, try to get some video. The Farleys are also busy writing, I hope to get the new songs recorded after my vacation. Life is good!
