Felix was the man. I rated him right up there with Jack Bruce. It so sucked that he was just shot down and allowed to bleed out by the vindictive bitch. She served a whopping three months in jail.
Boy could he play bass.
I was on a conference call a couple months ago with way too many "Michaels." I made some decisions for a guy in charge of another department. It's a running joke with us now. But the next call I was on I stated there are enough Michaels - I'll take a new name...
"What name?" I was asked. For some reason, I plucked "Felix" out of the air and I've been Felix ever since.

Mountain was my first ever true rock concert, 1971. They were frickin' loud with a wall of amps.

Wow Mike that's a hell of a first concert. Mine was 1971 too, Santana. My second was Pink Floyd.

The Raquet Ball Club at the Sheraton in Hyannis. We were about 15 rows back, and I swear when the band started the first 5 rows of people got blown backwards by the sound!

No doubt felix was left deaf from his days of playing,of course a lot of musicians back then has been afflicted by this, including yours truly.
