Outskirts of Cancun (read barrio) not tourist area and not tourists. These were local independent drug dealers. Cartels don't like independents. Same stuff happens every day in LA, Detroit, etc. Nothing to see here, move along.

Jimmy, this is a classic example of my beef with you! You post your liberal views regularly on this site and when someone post something you don't agree with you talk down to them in an attempt to make them feel stupid or you attack them with insults. Typical liberal tactics. Now before you waste your time turning it around saying that right wingers do it too know I have you on ignore. What can I say every now and then I get
bored so when I need a good laugh I click on the section that says "to view this post click here"!

I gotta tell ya I agree with J-haley on his post.Why "move on" I know it's not a music topic,which I think we need more of,but it's just a post,you are a little arrogant with your move on comment.

It's not news. If it were tourists or happened in the tourist area it would be news. This kind of stuff happens every day somewhere. You want to discuss it in detail, go for it.

Yes lets not be concerned with humans being brutally murdered . . .

Do you really care George? Because I don't see many people posting stories when it happens in Chicago or Detroit or LA. Or maybe they're not the right color to care about?

Whoa there Jimmy I don't want to wage war over a simple observation nobody says it was news the author just brought it to are attention.Does it really matter where.you talk about L.A. and Detroit like they set the norm for what happens anywhere.It's all good jimmy no harm no foul.

Including the thousands of innocents murdered for fun and profit by our own government in abortion clinics.

This is not an abortion issue and that.s only your opinion.

That is a very big number. Drug related violence is out of control in Mex and it does periodically involve American tourists who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Murder and kidnapping of Americans is becoming a regular occurrence in Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cozumel, Cancun, and Ensenada.

Not yet in the top 10 most murderous countries to visit but rapidly heading in the direction of many of it's neighbors.

Really? WHen was the last time a dealer got decapitated in America?

We're much more civilized here, we just shoot people with clips of thirty bullets.

Is it a little unnerving that 6 of the TOP 10 MOST MURDEROUS COUNTRIES are in the Western Hemisphere? 4 are in Central America and then there is Venezuela.

After that 2 in Africa, Iraq & Sri Lanka.

I think the USA is in greater danger of an invasion from the south than from the Chinese or Russians or Iranians.
