Man, I'm tight, AKA frugal, AKA stingy, AKA, a good steward, AKA (IMO) SMART!
I'm saying this iphone has paid for itself several times over.
One example. My wife and I wanted to spend a night in a nicer hotel locally for our anniversary. I went into 3. $129, $139, $149. I thought the best was the last one. I got that price, thanked him, went outside, used the phone to get on hotels.com, booked, paid for the room, came back in and told the clerk I had a reservation. He looked dumbfounded. He told me I saved $30 doing that. It took 5 minutes.
Just the AA batteries I haven't had to buy in the time I've owned it add up to BIG $. I use it as my main digital picture and video camera. I used to eat up batteries in my digital cameras as I love to shoot.
Pile up the devices, cables, wall, and car chargers I DON'T carry around now and it boggles the mind.
