Kirk was the kick in the arse the music industry needed at the time. Too bad Michael Stipe never got to him. Probably could have saved him.

Friends used to call me Tiberius, Kirk's middle name.

I remember we ate at The Outback that night and my daughter and I were not very hungry. My ex-wife asked "what's wrong with you two?" and we said "Kurt Cobain is dead". She said "So?" and I knew we were doomed.

If you don't know the whole story, Kurt was plagued with stomach pain to the point he just wanted it to end. Anyone who has ever been in severe pain can understand, death seems like a good way out even though we know that's not the answer.

Jeff no worries man. :)
Besides in this case I didn't miss-spell just used the wrong name. Either way Kurt was a much needed change of pace.

The first Hole album wasn't bad, before Courtney married Kurt.
I think she became competitive with him, not just wanting to be the wife of a rock star, and it ruined her band's music.
