Relocated to Cincinnati to form a band to promote my new album. NO POSERS or hobbyists.
NO DRUG HABITS
I don't care if you get high, but don't bother trying to hide an addiction!
Strictly original material with an eye for song and album sales.
seeking players for all instruments. espescially multi-instrumentalists. including occassional mandolin/banjo ect.
I won't throw the "have your sh*t totally together" bullshit on you...
NONE of us have that.
Just have varied musical tastes, the desire to do it right, get it done, and decent gear, and we'll progress from there.
This is ALL that i do. I'm looking bandmates to help me express my existing material and coloaborate on new, and not people that are merely hungry for a stage... that should be part, not all of it.
F**K GENRES!
Salute!

Good luck Hayden. I know how hard it is to find dedicated musicians who actually master songs. It's enormously frustrating. You deserve good people around you to work with.

Here's a thought: Bob move to Cinci! Or Hayden move to Kansas! Either way half the band is built.

it's hard for an original songwriter/musician to find people. on here or anywhere else.

When it comes to original music, more than anything a band is two (or more) people who believe in each other. My singer and I have been together for 14 years; several bass players and drummers have come and gone but the core unit remains and we always sound like "us". You need to find that one other person who believes in you and you can believe in him (or her). Once you find your partner it's relatively easy to find supporting members. I assume you're using fb and other social media; craigslist also works but can take a while. Also the open mics are very helpful. Good luck Hayden!

Thanks guys!
hell who isn't on drugs in this country?
I'd rather deal with people that "use" street drugs than those on most prescribed pharmaceuticals!
... BUT I don't want to deal with "addicts". If you smoke or drink or pop a pill (responsibly) that's no problem for me... squares just don't seem to have the creative juices... unless ya wanna write a jingle or 2

Use don't abuse! Alcohol has done far more damage than all street drugs combined anyway.

It's working great ToiletPaper, we work and get paid and have a wonderful time. You, on the other hand, have no band and never will because...well, you know why.
