"Slow Smooth and Easy"....an old louis jordan tune. for some reason the drummer wanted to do it a lot slower than we usually run it. i think i prefer the quicker version....but ya know how it is, the guy singing it is ALWAYS the boss when it comes to how it's done.

I liked the tune but hated the acoustics in there.

Arrgg sounds like it coming deep within a can.

Good deal though, I just adjusted it on my end and the reverb wasn't so all over the place.

Is my dementia creeping out or don't you usually play bass?

Is that you in the dark corner playing guitar? Sounds pretty darn good to me, acoustic issues aside.

I would love to learn jazz guitar someday...but not willing to take the time to practise that hard....which is why I'm a singer.

;-)

i don't know what you're referring to, ted. i've never touched a bass in my life.
yeah, right! if you're suffering from dementia....it's not showing here. yes, you're correct, i am bassplayer. i usually say something along the lines of "i play gtr (or vibes, or, mando)...but i AM a bassplayer." it's a great way to excuse any slop or poor playing on my part when i'm on the other axes! (though i guess technically speaking...the mando is really a hatchet)

yep, that's me. thanks. that's my EASTMAN 803 CE plugged directly into a '65 FENDER Deluxe Reverb. it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get bad tone w that setup!

yeah, and i'd love to learn jazz guitar someday TOO! seriously if it's anything that interests you...GO FOR IT! it's like anything thing else. you get a few "basics" together and build on to that. it AIN'T voodoo or brain surgery.

anyway...i've heard you sing, so w that going on for you i think you're in pretty damn good shape.

thanks for checking it out.
