Posted: Fri Mar 15, 2013 3:09 pmBoth of my kids love music and were trained in music when young. My daughter studied piano, and my son played trombone in the marching band. I bought my daughter a Fender P bass and Ampeg amp after she said she no longer wanted to play keys, and my son the rig I mentioned. Neither one wanted to play in bands, too busy I guess, or maybe they don't want to be like the old man!

I started out as a piano student until I was beaten for not doing it right.
(First and last piano lesson right there.)
Then I got shoved into the trumpet, which I hated.
Then we had a minor peasant uprising and I was free for a while. lol
Then, when I was 18, I realized I wanted to play guitar.
The rest was a thinly veiled game of catch up, hell I am still playing it.
