Hey guys! Do you like Heavy Metal music? Well help these fellow metalheads out and go to their page and give them a "like" on facebook. They are an up and coming heavy metal band from cincinnati called "Dimera". Here's the page, check them out and leave them feedback!

Music isn't bad, vocals not my thing. Metal needs a new direction for vocals, the "narrated by Satan" vocals get old. Good luck!

Not my thing at all.

In no particular order here's what doesn't float my boat:

The cookie monster robot vcls....c'mon REALLY? Are people still doing that? Are their metal fans that still wanna hear that?

The drums are kinda sloppy, no?

I know those are common generic metal 101 guitar tones and appropriate for the genre....but uh, yeah let's say it's just not my cup of chai.

Where's the bass?

Other than that..... :)

Best of luck. 8)

Wasn't too awful until the cookie monster vocals came in.

The guitar tones are sloppy, even for metal.

Clean up your guitar and fire your singer. lol

The question was 'do I like metal' and my answer is 'hell yeah.'

However, I want up front bass and once in while, I like to understand the vocal.

There are only two bands I like that do that growling thing: ArchEnemy and Children of Bodom. The former because I just plain think they are cool, and the latter because of the sheer musical ability of the guys and the vocalist who occassionally actually sings.

Ulimately Peg nailed it - it starts to all sound pretty much the same. I listen to Liquid Metal (sat radio) a lot while driving and it's amazing how it all seems to sound like the same thing, different key.

But that's just my opinion. That sort of 'death metal' sound is popular. I'm not sure the fact that I don't get it or like it, is really significant.

My band has had a hard time getting a bass player cause nostalgic Punks call us Metal, and Metal guys call us too Punk. f**k off all of you...it's Rock n Roll played our way.
