I said some stuff here on this board that could be taken as egotistical and rude about outplaying other people at some sort of BM guitar tournament or something? LOL.. it was only a test to see if my rival, (you know who he is) was still monitoring this board.. and yes, I got the old, "Dane is a liar and a narc" knee-jerk reaction from him..so he's still around..

In the 80's guitar was a competitive sport
In the 90's, we had to pretend that we didn't know scales or anything
In the 00's, nobody knew WTF was even going on
in the 10's, who the F knows.

I knew back in 1983 that I was never gonna be the best guitar player in the area. I focused on being the most reliable player instead. Strong rhythm, always having backup strings, etc. as well as showing up on time, every time, etc.. reliability in every aspect. Turns out that my evil plan worked. I may never be the best, but I can hold my own, and most round these parts knows it.

I'm not your rival man, I'm just a musician who
plays out just about every weekend and practices
8 to 10 houra a day just about 7 days a week.
Do you run anything besides your mouth Dane,
I never see you out when I play in Springfield or
when I go out to here the top players here in
Springfield.

see other bands, they won't come out to see you"

So I understand your scared to come see me, but
I don't see you out watching the top players either.

You assumme I monitor this board, then state it
to be fact, I sure wouldn't want to be you, you need
to practice and get out and see what real bands are doing,
not talking yoiur BS in your make believe band world
here.

I'm playing lead guitar for a band that has over 7 million
hits on utube,(tyhey only want to play on utube), I'm fronting
a band playing guitar and piano and drums about every
weekend, they're a talented bunch, and we all change around
on different instruments. You may be a big shot on this forum
but you don't play out you just talk about it.

how can I go to Springfield if you intend to do me harm? I can't afford to go to a hospital from being harmed for no reason.. I feel like The Dude from The Big Lebowski.. I have been demonized accidentally and like The Dude I do not feel right being victimized by accident..

Reminds me of my "cheesey buddy" who claims to have gotten so good at guitar in the last 6 months, he outplays people playing for 20+ years.

This is all entertaining to watch kinda like a trainwreck between you and dane, but it could be settled elsewhere in my opinion.

Lynard, remember that it easy to misunderstand stuff written on the internet.
