Another 250 million borrowed from Communist China and sent to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

You cannot call a reduction in planned increase in spending a cut.

It's only a cut if :

#1 There is an actual budget IE Planned spending from actual funds present, not a borrowed deficit.

#2 The actual spending from that actual budget is decreased.

Geeze no budget in 4 years, 16.5 TRILLION national debt. Almost 1 billion in loans to green companies that failed. Free Obama phones. 4 million on targets of American citizens, 1.5 billion rounds of 223 and 762 purchased(why the hell would any government need to stockpile that much ammo?) Private parties for all the major agencies amounting to huge wasted tax payer dollars...

This list goes on and on. How the hell can you complain about a slight cut in government spending Mr Kramer???? ... When your president was in favor of it to begin with.

I'm being gentle now. Have a nice day.

Dane, when God gives you an apple, you don't take a bite from it, then waste it in search of another... You miss the point.

On top of that God only asks that you share 10 % of what he gives to you to begin with. Why should any government be allowed to pass laws and require 70% or more?

Trickle down economic always works the best when there is nothing left to trickle down. You are proposing out right theft and redistribution of wealth. That is what taxes are when they applied without any foresight into the consequences.

I grew up believing stealing is wrong. I hope you did too!

Why wouldn't it be stupid? After all the bo decided where the cuts would be made. The whole thing was his idea to punish the people in order to make them angry at the repuklicans. He could have cut the trillion dollars of waste that the governments admits to in a 10 year period.

Dane,

Sometimes when I read your posts I have to wonder if you're really Cliffy.

Once again I will attempt to explain this to some one like Kramer that believes it is OK to steal and take control of another mans free will.

We The People

We have all heard the term civil disobedience. It is a term used to describe any action that goes against the authority of the the powers granted to maintain a stable community. This is to mean a government granted the authority to prevent anarchy and chaos. This is essential to provide a stable environment where a community can prosper in relative safety.

However I would be inclined to point out a similar phrase, that must be understood as well. Governmental disobedience. This is the United States of America. This is a nation of free men and women that have chosen to allow a government under THEIR AUTHORITY... to surrender some of their choices for the greater good of the community. In other words some of us would rather drive on the left side of the road but instead we all agree to drive on the right. It helps to avoid chaos.

However at what point are we surrendering our authority to a government that is suddenly empowered by it's own will. At what point does a government overstep that fine line, and by the very belief that the power imbued is actually from the governments very own existence.

At that point we have opened the doors to something far worse than anarchy. We have opened the doors to tyranny and GOVERNMENTAL DISOBEDIENCE!

When our government at all levels, national, state , local, and even towns, start to make decisions without the true consent of the people... Usually the reasoning starts with... I was elected by the people because they trust my judgment in all the matters that I was elected for. That includes any reasoning that could influence my decisions... even if the outcome is different than the perceived values that got me elected in the first place.

The problem is that we have empowered a person. A person that is also another human being the same as every one that elected him. Prone to human frailties, anger, prejudice, pet projects, and loves. Prone to mistakes and prone to pride, greed and a long list of human qualities.

Once we have empowered this elected official it is then we must be very mindful of the very reason we have allowed a government to moderate our freedoms. A government is meant to arbitrate our petty differences for the good of the whole community. A government is meant to provide stable rules and laws. I use the word stable because every law throughout history usually has some stable basis or precedent. If laws where just changed overnight and on a continual basis, it would only lead to the very anarchy we are trying to avoid to begin with. All this law making must not be approached with just a casual attitude of the man empowered by the fact of his election. It must be approached with the gravity and tremendous responsibility allowed, If we are to maintain a free society.

Once this relationship between government and a free people is corrupted in any way or manner, the out cry should be overwhelming. At that point we have reached, the point of governmental disobedience. That is the point where the government is more important than the people and the power is no longer coming from the true authority. THE PEOPLE. WE THE PEOPLE.

If you don't get this Kramer... Put down your guitars and bring on your guns!

I've decided it's coming down to two choices - leave me the phuq alone - or fight me.

I've had enough. The govt pigs just helped themselves to another three grand of my money - to spend on buying tanks and assault rifles for DHS I suppose. in case I don't want to cough it up I suppose...

And you want to tax more? Give it a rest. Leave us alone. Things were fine until the govt decided to help everyone. Now the country is a big shithole.

WONG,WRONG,WRONG...

According to the latest CNN poll... You are doing great!
Just like N.Y. Wasting millions of taxpayer dollars running very expensive T.V. ads telling every one how good the economy is and how business friendly we are.

Mean while drive down any main street and see how many store fronts are shuttered. The only ones that are staying... ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE CUT SPECIAL DEALS WITH... The devil.

Thank you very much governor, dictator , unmarried, angry , Andrew Cuomo. You really should look up guys like Cliffy, and step down.

I WANT YOUR JOB!!!

For starters,

90% of the cuts hurt the small guy. NONE of them address realistic goals to improve the revenue, like a transaction tax on stock trades, or ANY taxes on hedge funds or a fair tax on capital gains.

All of the cuts combined can't even save enough to put a small dent in the defecit. A good analogy would be if I have a $2000 monthly shortfall in my budget and decide that my solution would be to cut out one fast food meal per month to make up for it.

This is in every sense of the ideal: Austerity. The concept of austerity and it's implementation has NEVER BEEN SUCCESSFUL. EVER. Please re-read that as many times as possible until it sinks in. Cutting public services has never once in the history of mankind "fixed" a government spending problem.

This entire cut list failed to address ANY actual waste. These were all programs that served a public good, a function, a service.

Where are the cuts to all the superdomes, pet projects, slush funds?? Watchdog sites have counted TRILLIONS in government waste, and much of it is truly WASTE. There's so much money going to funds and corporate welfare that serves ZERO public interest. Yet, not one single item of cuts addresses a single instance of actual waste.

This sequester is nothing but a kick in the crotch of the working poor, and a high-five for the goddam rich fvucks who run the show.

Cuts . . . you keep saying cuts . . . there ARE NO PFUCKING CUTS . . .

No budget & projected increases in spending that's all.

You simply cannot cut that which does not exist.

Cuts my ass . . .
