I need to expand my tools to continue my search effectively. I'm mostly using this site as a way to advertise who I am and what I'm looking for.
And for some odd reason, as always, my posts are either being ignored, or I recieve a lot of hate, all because of something I say which is taken the wrong way and usually blown out of proportion.
It would be helpful to learn of some that are not quite so professional. You know, ones where I can create a personal profile, as opposed to profiles that read like resumes, and of course, have the ability to contact someone without having to pay for a premuim service so that I don't have to post everything on the board.
I would look these up on Google, but it's nice to actually talk to people and learn from their expeirneces, find out what's good, and what's bad. For example, how some people warn others to stay away from certain sites, and those who are willing to share good quality message boards with each other.
This is one of the main things that's been lacking in my search. Not having enough ways to get the word out, and learn by talking to other people around my age, especially individuals who like good pop and soft rock music, and are just looking for a good friend to share it with.
I'm not asking for my hand to be held, but just to be lead in the right direction in a heartfelt manner.

Why do I feel that is ironic, when you know that I'm the good guy here. I'm not giving up.
It would be cool if the less active members could respond. Some of the more reserved posters as opposed to the people who keep responding to my posts with witty comments, and individuals who talk about me behind my back saying things like "oh, he has Asperger's" or "he does this" instead of doing the right thing, and asking questions.
Also comments like you gave above is also why I'd like to be able to talk to someone through private message, that way, if I want to talk to someone in private (whether it's to resolve an issue, or simply because I found someone who looks like a promising individual who might be able to help in my search).

Glambert You really must train your self to stop pestering others for attention. You efforts here are entirely innapropriate, and out of line. Please...stop pestering the folks of BM.

I'm not pestering anyone, and I'm not doing anything to recieve attention.
I'm asking questions to learn about some good stuff that's out there. A lesser person in my situation would probably resort to drinking, durgs, or suicide, while I'm smart enough to simply ask questions and talk with other people to gain some good quality knowledge and tips about how to better go about my search, and explaining various things about myself as the person helps.
Relax. I mean no harm here, and I am in no rush to find these guys.

Wow! I'm amazed at the crap I keep running into. Why do I keep running into people who think I'm posting for attention, or who are always angry at the world?

I'm not mad, but I can't just leave. This is the only place I've discovered that at least offers most of the tools I need, but I need a lot more variety to work with.
As I've been hinting at numerous times, the more places I'll be able to sell myself AND talk with my audience, the more closer to success I'll be.
I am sorry for those who feel like I'm "bugging" them. Don't give up on me just because I ran into a few missunderstandings with a few select people.

Guys - he's camouring for attention - any attention. Ignore him and all his posts and eventually he'll crawl away again.
Glambert - seek a behavioral therapist.

Why am I constantly reaching trolls? People that post stuff just to drive another person crazy? Where are the guys who have enough sense to just answer the question I posed, and who don't make rude remarks like the ones who respond to my posts?

Just to find another web site?

I meant my music buddy search as a whole, not just to find another website. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
As I said, I currently don't have any good reliable tools to get the word out. I need more reliable tools.
