Am I a hypochondriac?

I just found out a few weeks ago I need glasses, so I got progressive lenses. Now I'm dizzy from the glasses. If it's not one thing it's another. Am I a damned hypochondriac or am I just getting too old, or is it natural for an aging blues superstar to complain about health problems?

I was prescribed glasses when I was 12.
I wore 'em just one day.
They made my eyes dependent on them.

Now, my eyesight is getting worse and I am unsure if I want to do that again.
I'd maybe get contacts if I could handle touching my eyes.

If I thought I could afford it I'd look into it.

No actually that is not natural.
AS AN AGING BLUES SUPERSTAR... you are expected to write another song about the tribulations you face.
I love the blues too and I know exactly were you are coming from. Gwen got all pissed off at me and slammed the bedroom door so I wrote this song.
Blues in A 8 bars with the turn around.

Couldn't get it up, couldn't do the show...
Lawd, couldn't get it up, couldn't do the show..
A man as old as me ...

Needs some sleep after three times in a row.

Please don't break the window
lawd, please don't throw you shoe near that window
Ya know a man as old me...

Needs some sleep after three... times... in a row.

Ya know an old man like me...
Ya know a really old man like me........

Needs to to find a different hobby?

Sounds like song lyrics Rodney Dangerfield would have written.

If its been more than couple days and they still make you dizzy, then they didn't get em right.

"Hypochondriac, hanging out at the laundromat
Where all the raunchy fat white trashy blondes be at
Dressed like a sailor, standing by a pale of garbage
Its almost dark and I'm still tryna nail a trailor park bitch
I met a slut and said "What up, its nice to meet ya"
I'd like to treat ya to a Faygo and a slice of pizza
But I'm broke as f**k and I don't get paid till the first of next month
But if you care to join me, I was bout to roll this next blunt"

Get regular bifocals. A lot of people don't like the progressive lens. As far as being sick and getting old, it's unavoidable but there are things you can do to mitigate the effects. Sleep, exercise and diet are the big three, as well as reducing bad habits like smoking and drinking too much. But some may be in your head; I sincerely believe you will feel better when you get your CD done.

Go with the good advice. From what I've seen/heard from *old* people, half their conversations are about various infirmities of themselves or their acquaintenances!

LOL, Bob I ran into an old friend a few weeks ago, he had a bout with skin cancer and prostrate issues. I said Mike this is crazy 10 years ago we talked about racing dirt bikes but here we are talking about prostrate issues! LOL!

Im too vain to go get my eyes checked but I do carry some readers with me everywhere these days, my bathroom sink has my collection of blood pressure, cholesterol, anxiety, and athritis meds on it. I have them labled morning or evening. I also used to have a full head of hair! Ive just learned to go with the flow, and do what I can and avoid the things i know I cant. Im thankful I can still play my guitar.

Im also starting to get some acid reflux issues.

A friend of mine told me something that is so miserably true, about aging. He is mid forty. Said he woke up this morning and thought, "Why do I feel shitty? I'm not sick?"

Yeah... every day. You suck it up.

Dean Martin explained why he drank alcohol: "When I wake up I don't want to think, this is the best I'll feel all day!"
