Steel wool!

Damn!!! I did an emergency boiler job on wednesday.
I got a huge chunk of steel wool under my left hand nail bed.
I was hoping it wouldn't get infected.
Now it's sunday... infected... painful... F. ME.

Now I have to go slice my nail off. It's always something.

Did you try soaking in hydrogen peroxide or alcohol? Bleach?

Try smearing elmers glue on your finger and let it dry thoroughly. Then peel it off. It might just pull it out. Super electro magnet would do the trick as well.

Thanks guys. Believe it or not RG I tried a neodymium magnet. But...

I guess I'm a chickenshoot... Even after I iced it to the point of freezing, I just couldn't cut it deep enough.

However my daughters boyfriend had no problem displaying some very fine masochistic traits.

One slice and he had draining nicely. Stupid me... I just hope he gets over my knee to his groin.

I feel much better. Sorry if I was grumpy.

Epsom Salt. Great stuff. A must have for preppers. You can mix to desired
strength. It's lighter than liquid in a back pack. Can be ingested for many different digestive problems. Shelf life of for ever. On and on.
Steel wool however, can also be made into a pistol silencer.

I heard lead takes steel wool out. Aim the gun carefully at the infected finger and presto, no more problem.

Jimmy, are you ever going to be nice?

What do you want me to wind up like Jango?

Just for your information. An hour later I took my son out and put 75 rounds of 3006 from a naked bolt action gun. !80 grain, 20lbs of instant recoil, 200 yards, and there was only one hole in the in the center of of my target.
How is that for grouping?

I was ready to shoot my finger off... Relax I know I would have missed.

Jimmy... You have to get over your fear of guns. I'm not making fun of you. I'm sorry, I really don't have anything against you.

Maybe I'll post some NEW MUSIC soon and then you can really kick my ass. DEAL!

Glad you got it worked out, GlennyJ. Thanks for checking out my tunes and thanks for the compliments!

No worries about me getting a big head. I'm my own hardest critic and well aware that I have miles to go before I sleep! 8)

Peg

Like your attitude. And your playing! you'll be surprised twenty odd years from now that you still think, "Ok, I'm making some progress... but not there yet!"

It's never done which is part of the fun.
