I see these rolling ads for music places all the time, one was Chicago Music Exhange, 'enter to win ...'. So I did.
Got an email last night, won a Logan Square Destroyer fuzz box: http://daredevilpedals.com/logan-square-destroyer.html

I don't really need one (I have an old Boss boost/distortion pedal that I was using in the band until we broke up), but will try it out first before throwing it up on ebay.

Yessss, Kyuss!! I have one poorly recorded old song heavily influenced by kyuss. It's not digitized. And then I have some old songs with a very similar lead tone to Josh Homme's old tone from then. I might be able to dig something up. but that is from an era when my musicianship and mixing ability was quite primitive.

KYUSS is the sickest, thickest, knuckle draggingest, guttural rock. Hits my caveman button every time. 8)

Kyuss in full glory!

OK I've tried it out, what am I bid? They are very limited, Chicago Music Exchange seems to be the only place that's got them right now, for $120.00 each. Save yourself $20?

i get that for free - using a Fender Mustang V head, Offers all sorts of sounds.

It seems over large (200 watt) for much of what I do but it actually sounds better at low volume (via Master) than my G-Dec prac amp.

I had a fuzz back in the day that was round, shaped like a land mine and was red. Purportedly used by Jimi himself (not that particular one  )
It really took the sound to a new level but I couldn't find a whole lot of use for it ultimately.

I can get all the fuzz/gain I need from my amps or my old fuzz, too, and I don't play the heavy 'stoner rock' stuff.
