I find it odd that I've heard nothing about this previously.
You'd think "someone" would have known an asteroid this size was in proximity to the earth.

There is a ton of stuff out there in space. My friend at NASA JPL says this one was about the size of a swimming pool, 50' diameter. If it was 200' diameter it would have wiped out that city. Here is another vid that shows the shock wave effect:

I saw this earlier yesterday.

I'm glad I've never met anyone as 'thick' as that. Personally If I knew one was headed somewhere, I'd attach some of your news reporters to it so they could get a first hand interview with it.
