Ever log in to bmix and the forum doesn't show what threads are new to read? (yellow threads)

Ever read the forum and have the whole thing go blank page with a FULL HEADER error at the top?

Every get hung up because the banner ads won't finish loading?

Ever go to look at someone's profile and it simply doesn't load?
(Vinny, did they ever fix your profile?)

Every other day this goes on for me. I update java, flash player and my browser religiously, all to no avail.

Methinks bmix is "pooping the bedroll" and no one is at the helm.

I have to laugh, I asked a friend of mine that has been on bmix for almost a year now if he reads the forum.

He replied, "what forum"?

I rarely have any loading issues. But recently, my account expired and I didnt renew it...

It occurs to me that I had been paying for what amounts to the most expensive email account in cyberspace.

Everything remains the same except the drainage on my a wallet.. That, and I cant message folks directly... But since I'm not seeking to 'meet' new musicians it doesn't make sense to pay the account anymore...

Maybe later, I'll renew it.

I just get sick and tired of having to figure out what threads are new/haven't been read and having the browser go flop because it's feeling "pukey" this day.

Even worse when you go to someone's page to hear their music and it's just not working.

I still haven't been able to hear Vinny Violin's music, his page just won't load for me. I messaged bmix and they are busy trying to "end world hunger" or something cause they sure didn't fix that.. lol

Sounds like malware. never have a problem in Mac or Win7. Scan for an adware resource hog on your system.

Nothing wrong with my system, I used to do this for a living.

As for the browser, I am using Mozilla. Microsoft Internet Explorer is a ticket to all sorts of viruses. I recommend you discover a new browser unless you like spam/viruses and malware.

MS IE is considered the refuge of the novice user and thus the majority of viruses are designed for exactly that browser. This is why when you go APPLE, most all viruses drop right off to nothing. (They figure that the o/s isn't popular enough to warrant the time to design malware etc.)

The very minute you stop using MS IE, your system will breathe a sigh of relief.

Mozilla, opera and chrome are just a few off the top of my head.
Note: I dislike chrome as I have run into some sites where it becomes non-functional.

I am thinking it may have something to do with the fact that I log into my account and then usually get redirected to the forum via url/link. It's generally then that the forum is empty and denotes no new anything.

I'll have to reload opera and see if that works better here.

You know, Maybe its a browser issue... I run Google Chrome, and its very compatible with the Flash crap that they shove at us on the forum. I literally have minimal issues, when and if they arise.

Or maybe your flash player needs updating?

You might need to perform some housekeeping like a defrag on your pc to clean it up. Also, the registry prolly needs some sweeping... Just a thought.

And Finally, remember, Kids..
When you download Porn, you're not only supporting the defiling and depravity against women everywhere, but you are also supporting the Virus makers, who would love to destroy your PC in the name of BALI...

Isn't "Scat" a type of porn? We may have nailed the problem.

the problem I found is a cookie or cert issue.

If you leave your browser open, even if you close the BMIX tab and exit the site entirely, it doesn't matter- if you leave the browser itself open (which I do.. constantly have my yahoo and gmail open), BMIX will eventually error out, about once per two weeks when the cookie or certificate expires. The ONLY fix I've found is to close the browser and re-open it, and bam, BMIX works fine.

That's why you 'used' to do it for a living.

I saw this earlier yesterday.
Do you guys wake in the morning and pinch yourselves?
CNN online were asking, (Probably some bored housewife presenter, kinda cute, with some dried plaster of Paris hairdo)

"Well who pays for the damage?" :D

I'm glad I've never met anyone as 'thick' as that. Personally If I knew one was headed somewhere, I'd attach some of your news reporters to it so they could get a first hand interview with it.

Yours sincerely,

Chipfryer

Fixing computers is like riding a bike..
You don't forget.. lol

The reason I used to do it for a living is that I am not certified and I don't want to haggle with the little old lady who thinks her 50$ bill for fixing her virus laden machine is too expensive. (I.e. f**k you and the horse you rode in on)

(Here lady let me help you by smashing your computer to itsy bitsy pieces)

"Here's a quarter, next time call someone who cares you old bag". LOL

And I'll take back my 3 sticks of ram I tried to give you because your machine is such a puss. Go buy some life insurance..for just pennies a day !@!! lol

PS: "Scat" is where you wipe feces all over yourself for sexual gratification etc. LOL "Don't get any on ya".
