Its Official,
I am the proud rhythm guitarist/Singer for our new blues band...Called the "The Happy Johnsons"

Note, I still maintain The BluePoetSouls, but they are in hiatus right now ( since everybody in it bailed (all two of us).

As a note of Interest: Wes, The lead guitarist for our new band, has a sister, (Edna Gunderson) , who is covering the Grammy's (Reports for USA today and a couple of others). Edna is the only reporter, whom Bob Dylan will allow to interview. She also has an relationship with The Macca people (Has extensively interviewed Paul McCartney, several times)

How cool is that!?

I wouldn't even...The most un-coolest thing I could ever do would be to bug her like that. I'm betting she's got vaults full of other peoples' CD's. (For some reason they confuse her role as a report for that of a label agent).

Bob Dylan is a 75 + year old American song poet, trying to enjoy his own life... What ever on this earth would make anybody think that he gives a sh*t about a total stranger's 'Cd" ? That's like trying to contact Einstein ..to show him your home-made calculator...

She could duct tape Bob Dylan to a chair and forcibly make him listen to the hundreds of CDs given to her with payola to "persuade" Bob to listen to them.

Dylan = Einstein?

Maybe Bill Nye The Science Guy, or Mr. Wizard.

Sorry.
I like some of his songs, but just don't revere him like that.
He had a few hits, influenced a lot of people, sold ladies underwear.

I got to meet and hang out with people like Alice Cooper and David Grohl.
Celebrity status doesn't impress me.

Good for you. But, knowing somebody personally who reports on the Grammies doesn't do squat for me. What does that have to do with your new band position? Like somehow it makes you a better singer and guitarist? Record some hot tunes and put them on your player for us to listen to. Then we'll hopefully be really impressed. Good luck with your new position.

No apologies necessary... I understand ... Some of Dylans songs are like trying to swallow a jar of mustard...But regardless of what I think... the reality is He's up there in Ort's cloud, out of the reach of little guys like me... The payola...Heck If i had that kind of money, I'd just throw a party and invite him directly

Why don't you just lob a nuke over in my yard, Bob?
Knowing somebody who knows somebody wont make me a better singer and a guitarist...But then again, I don't recall ever suggesting or even implying that it did. (Somebody is very grouchy these past few days)

If you don't like the tunes I've posted before, just say so..No need to to get underhanded about it.

Congrats, however the CD cover art the name inspires may deter sales (or increase them depending).

I'd venture to say that the happiest Johnson was RECENTLY big but is now is a state of slight repose!

Grant, congratulations on the new gig. New musical situations are always fun and exciting. Please post some music when you can.
