I am sure my frustration is not unique. We had a singer with a horrendous attitude, and we happily parted ways.

Trouble is, we have failed in our efforts to replace him.

All we need is a power tenor who can handle Queen and Styx. The rest of what we do is easy.

Why is this so impossible? The metro area here is about 250,000. Not a tenor in the whole area? Come on..........

Vocalist with that style of music are hard to find. Such a gift of talent is supreme. Their good & they know it, And have no problem finding a band to join. Countless bands would want them in theirs. Alot of bands resort to female vocals in that style of rock. Male vocalist with such ability of range & quality are more likely to make it to the big time bands. If he has the talent as, say for instance [Sebastian Bach] Or even half the talent. I would recommend to reconsider keeping him, If he is that good. But I understand conceited musicians can be a pain. Try working the problem out, Maybe he will work to control his faults of his personality. I wish you the best in the hope you find a vocalist for your band. Give it your all !! 110%.

The picture IS Steve Morse, by the way.

I would gladly stick with the guy. The keyboardist won't, however. They are also tough to replace.

You may find an excellent singer who has a slightly different sound than the one you are looking for. Perhaps you need to slightly adjust your music to fit the new voice. Don't get frustrated, go with the flow. Later...fisherman bob
