Yes . . . pictures!
We may be playing down Baytown way next month.
Restaurant / bar is paying our transport and lodging. Tentatively scheduled to play on a Saturday and then a local church Sunday.
Don't know if that's anywhere near you but I'll give you the address ETC when we finalize the deal.
Maybe we could have a beer together?

Baytown is about 25 minutes and I wouldn't miss it! Let me know the date hopefully we aren't playing that day. Thats the only thing that could get in the way. But we don't play Sunday so I'll come that day if I can't make it the Sat night before. Rock on George!

Just got in from scouting the band I am auditioning for next Sunday. They are good! There are no gig conflicts between MI and "Whiskey Business"!
I litterally played guitar for 7 hours today AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
George, I just checked the calendar for MI and there is not a conflict for March 2cd So me and the Mrs. will most likely be there! I am SOOoo looking forward to this!

Thanks Jw and Tom! Yes you are 100% right John. I haven't played guitar this much since the early 1980's. Partly because of the new guitar it is a $3000.00 axe.
Mission Imposter is not playing enough for me so I found a 2cd band. Found them last Wed. went to scout them last Sat. night and the guitar player they had got pissed because I was their and quit while they were loading out. I haven't even auditioned yet. Now they are in a tough spot because they have gigs and no guitar player. I can't help but feel partly responsible. So I am woodshedding learning another 45 songs and I have 1.5 week to learn them. This band plays a lot of heavy music (their list is the ULTIMATE) and some of the songs are fairly difficult. In 3 days I have learned about 30 songs! I am pro-active when I want in a band. I usually start learning the songs before an audition is even set up. I have a gig with M I this Sat. then audition with these guys the next day Sunday evening. Wish me luck!
Also I intend on getting pics. at this Sat. gig. i want to get shots of my p.a. my amp and guitars so I can post them here!

45 songs in a week and a half - no problem for you, Jeff! Guess you must have scared that other guitarist pretty good by showing up at their gig!

Mike, I am not sure if the guy knows who I am but we have played the same clubs for years. The band would come over and talk to me while on break and that possibly could have made him aware. He had told the band he was leaving for career reasons. They had told him they were looking for a replacement as a result no one understands why he got mad and just quit like that. He definately burned a bridge and gave himself a bad reputation for leaving the way he did.
I am enjoying this new guitar. I am amazed at how stable these PRS guitars are! I mean when you tune them and play the crap out of them they don't go out of tune. Last night I learned "Stoned In Love" (Journey) and "Hot Blooded" while I play along with the original recordings I am blown away by how close this guitar sounds in comparison with the recording.
