WANTED: GENRES (dead or alive)

Bandmix needs more modern and selective categories in which to classify ones musical genre. The closest I can get is "alternative" (irrelevant genre since the 1990's) and some other misnomer to choose from.
Where is ambient/experimental/dream pop...etc?

Yep...and where's the "Lithuanian Polka" category? No wonder I can't find any suitable players!

Kie I've listened to your music before... ambient mellow cool sounds.
Ahhhh... what's in a name.
Just call yourself "other" like every other non-category fittin fiddler! Besides you'll have grand-kids before BM updates itself.
I'll bet it doesn't suck being in Asheville... so how's the ambient/dream pop scene these days?
If you want a site to post your music with a player you might try Reverbnation. More function and control on your page and more choices for genre. And it's free.
