Guess I'm finally realizing this site is the REJECT musicians exchange. Not much more i can say and I'm always a positive person.. Hope someone can change my opinion soon...

Dude.. you do realize that you just lumped yourself in there...right? I'm assuming you are not dancing the "I got accepted in the band" dance right now , are ya?
Here's my advice. This site is NOT the place to try to garner and whup up a band. At best, you can maybe find a specialized musician, and most likely it will have to be an Online project.
If you want to assemble a band...Work with what you got at home. Get out to he clubs, the open mics, the whatever... Be like the plague...everywhere. Meet people and move forward from that.
Its really not that hard

I spoke too soon..

... I see that you already have a band and that you were in fact looking for somebody who specializes...
Given your background, you already know the drill about networking...
If you aren't drawing enough attention from prospective candidates, consider laying down some more current /contemporary Rock genre material. (I think the stuff you have posted might be a little dated for the crowd that frequents this site...)
Not saying your stuff is bad, but maybe if you threw in a current Ozzy cover (instrumental) and such...that might help.

BM is just another place where you may POSSIBLY connect with someone in your area. Use every tool you can - CraigsList, bulletin board at local music stores, etc.
When we advertised on CL for a lead singer to replace our singer in Instant Karma we had a dozen or more responses in 2 weeks. Of course auditions and requests for online music or MP3s reduced that number considerably ...

Calling everyone here REJECTS isn't going to help your cause.
Your citing yourself as being positive is negated by your own words.
I'm generally a positive person IRL, but here we choose to argue, sometimes bitterly, about things that are more or less philosophical and not much related to how we conduct or personal day-to-day lives. It's a clean indicator of the sheer passion and angst that allows musicians to thrive in their work, which I personally find invigorating.
Sure, I might call Jeff a crazy redneck, I might call Yod a right wing nutjob, and I might accuse glen of having bipolar disorder.. but in the end, they are all musicians who create impressive art that wouldn't exist without their individual beliefs, and I at least respect that.
So you don't care for the bickering here, that's ok. Start a topic about something musical instead of one calling everyone rejects - you might find that there's incredible knowledge, experience, and diversity here.

Bowel Movement Rejects? Good luck with that name John.
Yeah, the same rejects on BM are on CL and every other place. And you're looking for a lead vocalist? If you want a good one, steal one.
