We ( the wife and I ) went to a nice little restaurant in Jefferson Tx last night in celebration with a good friend & her family on her birthday.
There was a very talented cat playing piano and singing.
His name is Winston Hall AKA "Piano Man".
I could gush, but ill keep it short.
I was enjoying his work, and tipped him a couple of times. After asking for some R&R he asked what era, I said 70's.
The amount of material this dude knows is staggering.
His ability to take practically any genre' and convert it to "piano bar listenable" material without losing all the flavor was also phenomenal.
On my way out I stopped by to talk and thank him.
I told him that I'd not enjoyed myself in a "piano bar" since New Orleans 1981:

"Play some Billy Joel!"
"Which song?"
"Piano Man!"

No . . . not Piano Man . . . but several selections from Billy Joel, Jackson Brown, Willie Nelson, Van Morrison, Bob Seger . . . ETC
I could go on, but being as you always have to be so negative there really is no point in attempting to communicate with you.

Oh, I got stung alright.
This was taken the day after I was attacked by two guys, while coming home from the convenience store, in Detroit.
So, is there a reason why a picture of me beaten up is being used?

Happy birthday to your wife. Glad you had a good time. Some may think it corny, but sometimes marriage under Gods blessing will bring those special moments, you can count on. Thanks for sharing that.
