If you have never had your skeleton resonate with what you're playing, then you've never experienced electric guitar.

The loudness war is not about playing loud, it's about overcompressing and limiting recordings to make them as loud as possible (usually resulting in no dynamics at all).

Yep, I've read about it before.
I've bitched about compression since the late 90's...
