Don't try to incite your own self-righteousness. Most of those stats you are posting are world wide. NOW THAT'S SCARY.
Here's one for America,,, Every year over 200 babies are killed by people that lack any personal responsibility, and drive drunk. Every year there over 1400 babies killed in non alcohol related crashes.

Not meaning to be cynical of your intentions,,, This is why arms against hitlers ,and mao's and pol pots are vital. Question is??? Is Obama trying to add his name to that list?

By the way,,, TUNE YOUR GUITARS!

Couple of thoughts
If you want people to read that text use a thinner font and larger size. But it's too much at a time. Makes it impossible to read. Less per page.
The song is kind of reminiscent to Tom Petty/Dylan to me.

At least you're putting something you believe is important into your music... You'd think with all the topics here and the millions of miles of thought that would be the norm.
You're on the right track imo.
The intro git does sound a bit out of tune. Nice idea over-all.

I agree with the font issues . . . I really had a hard time reading them.

It's a great project, but a little outside insight ( such as Jahva's commentary )may make it more palatable and thereby improve the delivery of the message your attempting to purvey.

Mike, I think is one of your better songs... I really Like it , very much... There are many things that can open up in this song.

The structure is excellent, and i'm even gonna say that you r voice efforts improved on thsi one. Now just clean up the mix... :)

As far as videos go, drop the lengthy paragraphs, ( To me, they are annoying and a huge distraction).

Two thumbs up brah...!

The stats were only meant to catch attention. If you want to read them, just pause the video! I could have made the whole video nothing but stats, but that wasn't' the point.

Which guitar do you think is out of tune - the initial acoustic? If its the electric rhythm, maybe that's the chorus FX (different on left and right side guitars).
PDog - what would you change in the mix?

Thanks for all the comments.

The intro acoustic git sounds a bit out... also a bit uncertain the way some notes are deadened...
if that makes any sense.

1) Re Main Guitar. If you aren't already doing it... I'd recommend actually recording a 2nd track from scratch (Not cut and paste the first track) and FX them separately.

2) The Lead Guitar could stand to come forward a little more

3) The choral harmonies, a tad brighter..

Other than that its a great song.

Different opinions on which guitar is off! Hmmm ....

The electric rhythm is two separate tracks , but I should be able to change the chorus on one of them (same FX plug in on each).

'Forward on the lead' - a little brighter?

Harmonies - I tend to compress them a little so that they sit 'behind' the lead vocal, I'll look at the EQ.

Right now, I'm pretty happy with the overall sound - like any other new song you are working on, you listen to it so many times you start 'not hearing' it. I've got two more tracks I'm working on, and once those are done, I'll start going over all 14-15 tracks I've got in the can for all these last little tweaks.

Thanks for listening and for the suggestions.
