Or maybe, the "treacherous" weather and how the roads were so bad that it was a miracle that their outdoor reporters were able to stand up?

I'm f**k sick of the drama and sensationalism.

I live close to Memphis, and every morning the main headline will be a shooting. My wife and I talk about this all the time, that every morning the lead story is a shooting. I cant remember the last time there wasnt a shooting mentioned from the past 24 hours.

At least with the internet you can check out the news in other countries.
They don't have the constant melodramatics, like American news.
And they actually have some FACTS in there, too!

I font read the local rag, but on their main page today, this was the first headline....

I've also found the BBC news to be biased and while less 'sensational' than american news, it seems to be equally as corporate controlled. There's little out there that sticks to both the truth, and all of the truth.. (meaning- many news rags give you cherry-picked truths and leave out others in an attempt to get you to draw the wrong conclusions)
