I am watching this TV show called Branson Country USA and wondering if any of you have it on your tv scheduled programming? wondering if it's just a local thing? or nation wide?

yes George, Branson, Mo. I missed 95% of the show but listening to it in the background and wondering what that country music playing could be on tv, looked at the Zap2it tv schedule on yahoo and said it was Branson Country USA .. I'm usually watching the football game on NBC Sunday nights but knew it was over for the season so decided to make some listings

I've seen, it would seem, adds for that show on the Cable network.
Though I don't recall ever seeing a listing.
Perhaps it was on one of the televisions at work ? ( different Cable network )
I had assumed it was a special, perhaps related to a local ( Branson ) event.

I know a lot of folk in my area that like to vacation in Branson.
Closest I've ever been was Silver Dollar City . . . and that was + / - 35 years ago.

Daisy and I went to Branson to the Roy Clark Celebrity Theatre 20 years ago so she could "sit in" with Roy's backup band Roy was absent that evening, never will forget the band let her sit in the last few minutes of the night's entertainment jamming out Orange Blossom Special and it did not "gel" very well.. she had real high hopes of being a Branson entertainer but she now lives in New Orleans.. doing accounting.. she was the first musician I met when I moved to this area in May of 1992.. oh how things have changed.. 20 years ago I still had musical ambitions but the chemistry only clicked for me a few times with musicians I met in Florida..must be something about Missourians I can't get close to? LOL.. Daisy had moved here just about the time I did..she come from Midland-Odessa area and was doing something with "mud" in the oil industry kinda like field work out in the field..

LOL being a Texican I know full well what a "mudman" does.

"Mud" most often is a mixture of water, barite clay, caustic, and other chemicals ( sometimes an oil emulsion is used ) that is weighted specifically so that while it's being circulated through the drill string it prevents blow outs ( hydrostatic pressure ) and circulates out the rock formation cuttings.

Sounds simple, but it is a very complex art. A wrong mix can perpetuate a blow out, or chemically ruin a "pay zone".

Sorry . . . I got carried away.

Looks like it's a syndicated radio show:
http://www.bransoncountryusa.net/BRANSO ... /HOME.html

We've got a dozen or more coutnry music video stations on our digital cable system. I only flick by them occasionally, that area of stations (up in the 400s, I think, is nothing but music stations - lots of hio-hop, some metal, some coutnry.

Branson and it's glory days are over.. mostly only has beens and new unheard of acts playing there.. in the old days 1980's you had Willie Nelson, Roy Clark, Mel Tillis, among other well known acts dropping in from a tour date
