Why do Nigerians and others , think that Americans are so whimsicle that we can be conned by some half-wit. I mean, look at all the trouble this guy is causing when,we, as musicians have plenty of other ways to productively spend our time. True, I have not been contacted, but it pisses me off just thinking about those who might have takin the time to consider him lagit. I wonder how much time and energy this A-Hole would have cost me if I had not been informed ahead of time. Thanks to you all fellow M's. I owe you a debt of gratitude

Anyone who posts a pic of herself walking into a wall...... Maybe banged her lil head too many times during the shoot. I'm sure there is a door out of that room not too far away.

My wife's a yoga teacher - she's been getting the same thing, "teach my son private yoga lessons, I will send a check".

I think these guys are looking for people that are assumed to be more friendly, open minded, etc - musicians and yoga teachers now.

We did have some fun stringing the guy along, and then sending him a "link to our bank account" - which was a link to the "yoga teacher scam" reports page. Funny, he stopped emailing.

What I don't get about this whole thing is why scam small-time musicians? (Sorry guys, but you ain't U2). I don't remember the stereotype where unsigned bands and musicians have massive amounts of expendable money to steal, but I want in on it.

Because small-time musicians will think that "this is my big break!"
