You would think that if the federal government can come to some kind of agreement to divvy up trillions of dollars the Natioanl Hockey League could agree on divvying up a mere few billion dollars.

Unfortunately men have been shot trying to divy up $50. Don't look for hockey this season.
The only reason they have a temporary fiscal crisis fix is that politicians want to get elected again. Most Republicans in the House voted against it - they would rather your taxes go up rather than rich people's.

The NHL was upset when they wanted to ban fighting, an institution in hockey.
They won't divide anything up and another lock out is def possible.
