New talent and upped the game.

I upped the game in the home recording studio. A young singer/songwriter friend came over so I could record a song for him. He is the kid who was 14 3 years ago in "the spread" (in the recent seven bridges road video). He also sang with me on my "Go rest high on that mountain video". He is 17 now and continues to amaze me. His name is Sam Valentine.

Check out the sound quality/picture quality I just got recording him. This is 1 vocal mic, 1 guitar mic, and one line from the guitar into my fostex 16 track digital multitracker. It's about 10 year old technology. I added Reverb and EQ. Then direct out of the headphone jack into my iphone 4s with this splitter http://www.amazon.com/Headset-Buddy-Ada ... B002D41HKS. The phone records in full HD - 1080p. Be sure and adjust the quality (if on a PC) to see it in 1080. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfLZ4danZ4A

This same setup could be utilized with up to 7 totally separated inputs or more (maybe 14 or so) not totally separated inputs. Meaning - like I did with Sam, just get a good mix and hit record. It would be much more labor/attention/OBSESSIVELY intensive to do a full band set up as there is no mixing after the fact. I'm just stating what is possible.

2013 is looking GOOD for recording/posting!!!

Real nice, his timing is a little off, playing to a click track on headphones might help.

A very talented young man, and excellent video quality. The reverb gives it resonate effect . Very nice and well done
