We did not do gift's for the adults this year.
We went as a family to the Christmas Eve Candle Light Service.
We had the "tree celebration" with the kids & grand-kids last night and again today for the one's whom could not be present last night.
We had a huge turkey meal that my wife cooked up fresh here at home, just like the good ol days.

Now it's snowing . . . rare here.

I was given a Gremlins action figure by my eldest daughter and her husband.

My Gremlin's name is GEORGE . . . LOL
He will have a place of honor on my amp for 2013. 8)

got a juicer and a movie "yes man" (one of my favorites). We kept it very simple this year and focused on our daughter, who got dozens of presents and today has a "toy hangover" lol

My brother visited me and my family. I haven't spoke to him since he chewed my ass about quitting a worthless job, last year. I am a man. I am not going to do as my brother dictates I should. I am not going to apologize for my brothers hateful words. He is my brother and I love him. I was not going out of my way to visit him since his rant. He has had a tracheotomy last summer and now uses a buzz box for his voice. He did not apologize for his rant directly, but him coming here was apology enough. He brought me mail that I had sent to my mother and step father when I was in boot camp. My Mother is dead now and my step father probably felt I would get more significance from them than he. I have helped my mother and step father with getting the farm in which he still resides. I feel that people should cherish each other especially family. I can't think of what I could need to apologize to anyone in my family for. I do not regret doing things I have for members of my family. I have forgiven things that they have done to me even when they were heinous. Many times I see people that do cross the line of just human kindness to utter out of the way abuse. I do not have any use for those people. This Christmas, I ask for peace on earth and that we all start with family. Pay it forward when you can. Love those that love you and be happy with what you have. I am a simple man as the song suggests, and am easily pleased. Jesus said you should forgive 70 times 7. After that, I do not put myself in a position that I may need to forgive again.

Red I had a Roadster for a while, play with that 2nd channel in the Brit mode, great tones in there, and just dime the gain on that channel, its probably the only Mesa Channel Ive ever dimed and liked!

Great Amp, Enjoy It!

If you ever replace the tubes slap some EL 34s in it!

If you dont have the manual, get one downloaded and use thier ideas for setting up your tones, gives you a real good starting point. I currently use a Triple Rec, what Ive found on Mesa's is to go easy on the mid, most of the time, around 8-11 oclock seems to work best, Noonish on the bass, treble, gain and presence.

On the roadster you have control over how much power you are using per channel, to me the clean channel you want all the wattage and I ussually cut the wattage on my gainy channels, so I could even out the overall volume.
